"I've worked with Joe Barnhart out of this office for the past few years. He's always given me great service and checked back in periodically to make sure I was good and offer me new services. I started with just renters insurance, but have now happily switched over my car insurance to State Farm as well. I'm recommend SF to anyone, but specifically this office for a good experience with fair pricing."

"Do NOT purchase insurance with this company! I had maintained a policy with this branch for over 20 years. I filed a total of three claims over the period of two decades. Kyle Fadeley came to my home and raised my deductible from $500 to $2500 and never explained why. I have always had an impeccable payment history with all premiums paid punctually through escrow each month. My credit score has been in the 800 range for many years. I hardly ever heard from the agents in this branch. I was recently contacted out of the blue and was told that they will be terminating my policy at the end of this month. They never gave me any type of transparent reason. This is deeply concerning given my longstanding relationship with this agency and the absence of any prior issues. This has been a very difficult and stressful process but I was able to purchase a new policy elsewhere at a much better rate. I rarely leave any reviews, but I wanted to share my experience with other honest hardworking people like myself. Old saying, when you know better, you do better."

"Hi Ms. Davis, I've had a chance to review to your Google Review and review your account. Yes, you're correct - your payment history is excellent. However, stating you were contacted "out of the blue" and not being "transparent" is simply not accurate. On May 20, 2025, you stated your home was vacant. We explained we cannot insure a vacant home but would honor the contract until the next renewal date 2/28/2026. On December 9, 2026, State Farm sent you a letter explaining we would not be able to renew your homeowners on 2/28/2026 since your home was vacant. On the same date, my office left you a voice mail message explaining the letter that you would be receiving shortly. On December 12, 2025, you returned our call and spoke to our office. You acknowledge the non-renewal and explained your house was on the market and that you would call us when your home was sold. On January 23, 2026, my office texted you to obtain an update on the status of your home. On January 28, 2026, we left a voice mail message. Finally, we spoke to you on February 6, 2026 reminding you your contract would not be renewed on February 28, 2026. "

"My husband and I recently relocated our family to NC, and Joe, the agent near our new location, has made switching insurances SO seamless! "We have made a number of enhancements to our home - an expanded deck, a new larger covered front porch, and a new pad mounted standby generator. We wanted to ensure we have proper insurance coverage so we called our local State Farm office and spoke with Lauren. She reviewed our policy and suggested that we make a small increase in our coverage to protect these investments, including giving us options on coverage levels deductibles and premiums. We settled on a modification and Lauren put that into effect that day. On the same call, we inquired about flood insurance for our home. In short, Lauren walked us through our options then we settled on a level of coverage that meets our needs. We learned that homeowner flood insurance can be purchased through State Farm, as they act as an agent for FEMA. Previously I thought that we would have to contact FEMA for the purchase. Throughout the call, Lauren made it her business to listen carefully to our needs, to provide options to address those needs, and then once we made our decisions she executed the changes/purchases as needed. She is knowledgeable, helpful, and patient - a consummate professional."

"Joe is an absolute rockstar! Had an issue during my refinancing with possibly needing a new type of homeowner coverage. Joe got to the bottom of it right away, advocating for me ensuring that everyone involved in the process knew that the coverage I have is the right policy. "The whole team has been amazing and super helpful. I can't put into words how much they've helped me the 3/4 years I've been with them.
